We sell a wide range of products from outside finishing products such as stucco and shingles to interior finishing products such as drywall, insulation and textures.
 
Opportunity:
We are recruiting a Drywall Delivery Truck Driver for out Edmonton South location at 1215 95 Street.
THIS POSITION WILL BE POSTED FROM JUNE 20, 2011 to JULY 4, 2011  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the delivery of materials to Consolidated Gypsum customers in a timely and safe manner
• Provide a competent and personable representation of Consolidated Gypsum when dealing with customers
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Comply with OH&S requirements and company policies and procedures
• Responsible for the interior cleanliness of the unit, reporting exterior damage or mechanical deficiencies
• Perform pre-operational inspection calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
• Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.
• Plan travel routes

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience operating the following equipment: Trailers, trucks, remote controlled picker cranes, forklifts, conveyors and straight truck accompanied by pup trailer.
• Completion of high school or post secondary
• Valid class 1 Alberta driver’s license with clear drivers abstract.
• Effective use of log book • Experience with long distance driving
• Advanced map reading skills
• Bondable
• Ability to lift more than 100 pounds repetitively.
• Must have own means of transportation to/from our facility.
